Cathay Pacific Reveals New Boeing 777 Suite
Cathay Pacific has relieved an all-new Boeing 777 ‘Aria’ Business Class suite. Aiming to debut the Boeing 777-300ER mid 2024, Cathay Pacific have given a glimpse into some of their new design features.
You’ll find a sliding privacy door, wireless device charging capabilities, 4K in-flight entertainment screen with Bluetooth audio and extended wings for enhanced privacy even with the door open. These extended ‘wings’ are designed to ensure a degree of privacy, no matter if the passenger is working, in do not disturb mode or just relaxing. Additional storage will also be offered, with a drawer available under the wide shelf, giving extra storage for personal items. We will finally see the cabin feature gentle curves and woodgrain-like surfaces.

Cathay Pacific Adding New Flights To Brisbane From December
The Hong Kong-based carrier is upping its weekly flights to the Queensland capital from four to six from December 1, 2023. The Boeing 777-300ER, fitted with 40 flat beds in Business Class, will depart Brisbane every Friday to Wednesday morning, arriving into Hong kong at 7:30am, while on the return flight, leaving Hong Kong at 1:10pm, touching down in Brisbane at 11:35pm the same day.
The Oneworld member is steadily rebuilding its Australia presence, with Perth also marked for a flight increase from December 6, taking its three weekly flights to five weekly. In addition to boosted flights between Hong Kong and the West Australian capital, they have also flagged an aircraft change, switching from the Airbus to the Boeing 777.
Elsewhere in Australia, Cathay Pacific currently has 19 flights per week to Sydney and 16 per week to Melbourne, with both of these primed for an increase from the end of this year.
